The ReAct Festival 2025
The ReAct Festival is back for its fourth year, building on previous successes and expanding its impact.
In partnership with six London secondary schools, WCTP are running drama workshops for over a thousand Year 8 students.
Ten students from each school, are selected for the second stage of the project. They go on to take part in an exciting day of workshops at the Lyric Theatre Hammersmith, led by our experienced practitioner teams.
This is followed by ten weekly in-school workshops during the summer term, where the students develop unique theatre pieces around this years’ theme, FREEDOM.
The project culminates in the ReAct Festival 2025 on July 12th at the Lyric Theatre. The performances are attended by the student’s families, friends and local community members, celebrating the milestone moment in these young people’s lives.
This year we are partnering with UK charity All Child.

A short documentary film made on the performance day at the Lyric Theatre Hammersmith
A vibrant short film was created during the hugely successful ReAct Festival 2024 at the Lyric Theatre Hammersmith, spotlighting the transformative journey of 60 young people from 6 different West London secondary schools, many of whom had never before taken part in such an experience.
For most, it was their first time performing on a professional stage. The film captures their excitement, growth, and the powerful sense of community fostered by the festival, showcasing its transformative effect in building confidence and creating new connections.
